About the Role

We do NOT have any openings for O/O or leased drivers at this time.


Our drivers are responsible for operating a tractor trailer intrastate and interstate on OTR routes to deliver and/or pick up refrigerated LTL loads between the Midwest and the East Coast. This includes NYC and out on the island as well as DC and Chicago. Lanes run from our yard in Janesville, WI out to the East Coast and back weekly. There are occasional street unloads and driver assists for which we provide the driver with an electric pallet jack. Home time for drivers residing out of our region is 3 weeks out with 4-5 days home.
Driver's routes are expected to be completed in accordance to all policies stated by ForZack and DOT regulations. Drivers will interact and collaborate with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner ensuring all services and duties are completed in accordance with standard operating procedures and safe workplace practices.

Starting pay is 25% on the load. 28% after 30 days. 30% for NYC & out on the island.
$1,500 - $1,800 / week gross.

CDL Driver Responsibilities:

Knowledge and comprehension of all DOT rules and regulations.
Follow and perform all company safety checks on truck and trailer pre and post trip.
Report any and all incidents/issues/hazards immediately to dispatcher/management.
Inspect freight and all documentation to ensure accuracy and note any discrepancies.
Maintain a clean and safe tractor performing general house-keeping duties as needed.
Uphold relationships with dispatchers maintaining communication for all safety related issues, confirmations of deliveries, arrival and departure times, and any route discrepancy doing so in a professional and respectful manner.
Understanding other job-related duties may be assigned and required to be performed at will.
